COMMITTED BY OUR PREAMBLE IN OUR CONSTITUTION AND BY OUR PARTICIPATION IN SPEAKING THESE WORDS TO VETERANS, SERVICE PERSONAL FELLOW LEGIONNAIRES AND TO THE COMMUNITY STATE AND NATION:
THE OBJECTS OF THIS ORGANIZATION ARE THOSE SET FORTH IN THE PREAMBLE OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE AMERICAN LEGION, NAMLEY;

To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom, and Democracy:
